Vows in the Clouds: Destination Wedding in the Smoky Mountains
This wedding day was one for the books — one of the most striking and beautiful weddings I've been to.
Kevin & Khailing had most of their guests stay with them in a glass cabin nestled in the Tennessee Smoky Mountains for Labor Day weekend, and had a standing wedding ceremony, which included a tea ceremony, right outside on the cabin's balcony. The following day, we drove out to a few overlooks for some quiet day-after portraits.
Their details and styling were simple, yet beautiful (Khailing made the suspended floral backdrop for their cake table herself! And note the Chinese hair accessory combined with her beautiful satin dress); there were excessive frills, just their love, their families, and their friends. It was so clear to see that Kevin & Khailing deeply knew and valued every person present; the entire gathering felt like friends at home. Thank you both for inviting me in.
